"Cornerstone Community Church" is a non-denominational family of believers. We are your neighbors down the street, the children in the school around the corner, and the clerk at the local store.
Our membership is made up of people who have roots in multiple denominations. What binds us together is an unshakable belief in the truth of the Bible and the power of God to save and to change lives. At Cornerstone, we strive to sustain an atmosphere of openness, transparency, and acceptance. We view these tenets as foundational to our faith - our faith in Jesus Christ." .... Pastor David Kight ------------------------------------------------- Announcing "A Season of Miracles" Beginning October 1st, and extending throughout the rest of 2008 we will be exploring and experiencing the miracle lifestyle available to the children of God. The Bible says in Ephesians 3:20-21 that, "God can do anything, you know-far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us" (The Message Translation) So, for the rest of the year, the rest of this "Season of Miracles", Cornerstone and it's people will be, as I said before, exploring and experiencing the miracle lifestyle available to the children of God. Exploring: We will be studying the miraculous things found in the Bible. Wednesday Nights, beginning Oct 1st, we will explore "The Miracles of the Old Testament". Sunday Mornings, beginning this Sunday, we will explore "The Miracles of Jesus in the New Testament". Experiencing: As Paul said in Ephesians, a miraculous lifestyle is available to God's children. However, the miraculous lifestyle that God supplies for His people is not because of any demand or claim that we might make but rather because of the deep and gentle work the Holy Spirit is doing within us. The miraculous lifestyle of the Believer does not exist in what we have but rather in who we are. So, we begin the study of "The Miracles of the Old Testament". Come ready for an uplifting experience as we see what God can do - in His world but especially in His children.
